Golf trip to NE England

4-5 of us looking for a golf weekend travelling from East Scotland - maybe somewhere like Slaley Hall as its within 3hr drive - just wondered if any other suggestions.

Accommodation onsite
They literally give it away
As a 2 rounds, 1 on each course, stayover deal

Their normal green fees advertised on website are ludicrous

Little point looking at the websites at the moment, every golf course in England is closed for the foreseeable future and I bet a few will adjust prices when they are reopened.

Moogie has nailed it really. All on one site, everything there is excellent. The prices they are offering now are a steal.

Recommend you play Goswick just past Berwick-upon-Tweed. Super golf course.

Have played Bamburgh (good) and Goswick (really good) if you want something away from the hotel-golf thing

Play Alnmouth (Foxton Hall) on the way down, you won't regret it.

They also do very reasonably priced accommodation and packages with Goswick and Bamburgh iirc.

I wouldn’t travel beyond goswick, alnmouth and bamburgh or dunstanburgh. I’d recommend Goswick on the way back up as you’ll be half way back up.
