Golf Swing Analysis

Wrong section of the forum this should be in 'ask the experts'
But saying that, It looks like you're standing on your toes, causing you to 'stand up' on the swing making you come across the ball. Hence the slice.

Thanks, sorry about the mistake have now posted it on Ask The Experts. In meantime I have noted your comments and for which I thank you. On course tomorrow and will try and reduce my swing and hopefully remain connected with the ground.
Thanks again

Nice swing, graceful, controlled.

As THJahar said you're disconnected from the ground and could do with finding a more stable base (your stance is too narrow for your long clubs).

Widen your stance and position yourself so than the ball is closer to your left heel (its too far back at the mo; youre hitting he ball too early/while your club is still heading away from your body).

Incidentally, what are you hitting those balls at; don't tell me, neighbour's green house?

Not an expert by any means but the thing that struck me particularly from side on his how much your left knee collapses on the backswing. There is no resitance to turn against. It also looked like the left arm bends a little but I'm thinking that is a follow on from not turning and is forced into that position as you try and make the backswing.

Other than that there is some good stuff there especially the control and tempo as DB130 said

"Incidentally, what are you hitting those balls at; don't tell me, neighbour's green house?"

I would like to say that on my estate hitting any distance is not a problem, unfortunately that would be a fib but only until the lottery comes up!

I am actually using the plastic balls with lots of holes in them.

Anyway many thanks for the advice.

Hi alphalogin,

A couple of tips for you.
Into your followthrough, your body is still facing to where the ball was, you have very little body turn towards the target. And also, you stay behind the ball (on your right leg) a bit too much through the ball.
Move your ball a bit more to the left, under your left armpit/shoulder would be better. If you get a chance to practice before your next game, hit some shots where your right foot steps over your left into the followthrough, as Gary Player used to do. This will help get more rotation towards the target and get your weight more to the target through the ball. If you have any physical limitations that may hinder this, message me and i'll think of something else you can try.

Hi everyone,
On the course this morning much better after reading all your tips and trying to put them into practice, still got some way to go but feeling far more confident and with a bit more practise who knows? Anyway many thanks for all your help it is very much appreciated. :)
