I bought a pair of Puma GS fast golf shoes last year. They are brilliant. Very comfy and waterproof. Yes, waterproof. The thing is, they are now tough to find. Why do shoe manufacturers change the styles. If they make a good shoe, keep making it. Nike air force one. Every trainer now looks like this iconic shoe. It annoying that I'm going to have to buy a golf shoe before I need to, but I don't want to take the chance that the next generation shoe just will not be the same quality.

I bought a pair of these from Sports Direct, hate away people but they were £50 a couple of months ago. Cracking shoes, really comfy. Have you looked on their site, or gone to a shop? Worth having a look for.

I'm also thinking of getting a second pair of these. I like to alternate my shoes and the pair I'll be retiring are another Puma pair, about 4 years old and the soles are worn down.

In answer to your question, get them. Put me in a cupboard until you need them but definitely get them.

Disaster. I know we are a year on, but last week, when tying up my shoes, one lace cut through the eyelet. I managed to tie it up to be able to play. When I got home I checked the other three eyelets. All are being cut into. This is a bit disappointing as the shoe looks like new, well with a bit of a wipe over it would. No sign of any part coming away or the glue giving out. I have glued it up and that worked, but it's not going to hold forever. The wife's sister has an eyelet reinforce punch thing so I'm going to borrow that and do all four holes. That should make them good again.
PS I only use these shoes in the summer, so they've not been used for a whole year yet.
I also did get another pair, yes they are that comfy. So I will be putting the reinforcing things into those as well

Our pro has started stocking Puma shoes so I am interested in any up to date reviews. They look a little "young" for me as a 58 year old duffer but love the styling and they do feel nice and light

I have two pairs now. Easily the comfiest golf shoes I've ever had. Yes, they are very trainer like but that is what they are about. They are not aiming to be 'traditional'.

I get that side of it but you have to be a certain age, and shape to carry them off. I'd look like a sad dad if I wore them, think baseball cap backwards 😄
As an old codger I do wear my cap backwards from time to time.Baseball caps are the only type you seem to be able to buy these days. If it's very wet turning them round stops the drips putting you off at address. I guess it's all about practicality though I think waterproof trousers are probably better than golf joggers in wet conditions.

That is very acceptable, and frankly practical. Just don't do it with the VW emblem on a chain around your neck at the same time.

Not sure I could deal with the flak from the boys in the roll ups at the weekend if I wore joggers. Think they came out at least 15 years too late
