Reading another post on brands and logos, got me thinking about golf shirts and what brand(s), if you have one you prefer wearing or you own.

Myself I have a couple of Ping shirts, a long sleeved Adidas shirt and a Scary Long shirt.

I like the single main colour uncluttered style of ping and the distinct style Scary Long produce.

Cheers
Dave

Woodworm are good and tend touy shirts at Tesco and Asda. Have a warehouse type shop near me on the A1 called Downtown that sells end of range stuff and are good for Racing Green, Ben Sherman and my favourite, Weird Fish, Shirts.

Best buy recently, a Stylo breathable shirt from justgolfonline for £12.99.

I have to admit I like the shirts that are quite loud and shouty, something almost fluorescent but not quite.

I figure if people are commenting on how loud the shirt is they're not noticing my swing

Bought a nice pink and green Racing Green shirt the other week for £12.

I bought two crackers from sports direct 2 hours ago.
£4 each.

HID reckons they are a little too bright mind you. :o

Saw a really nice flourescent orange one in TK Max yesterday. Unfortunately HID was with me and she vetoed my purchase just in case I ever decided to wear it away from the course.

I read you pain, you see a nice shirt loud enough to be used as a rescue flag if you were stranded on a desert island and the better half gives you that look that says if you ever want to have an early night ever again you'll hang that shirt back on the rack.

Spot on

Re: Loud Golf Shirts

I like Ping shirts, especially the ones with the Ping logo on the collar. Plain, bright colours (electric blue, lime green etc.)
Have bought a few Greg Norman ones recently, good material and some really nice colours in those and good value.
I'm just about to search e-bay for a couple of those Callaway fleeces that Bjorn wore today. They look nice, and a bit easier to look after than jumpers.
Wish me luck, I'm going in
;)

Re: Loud Golf Shirts

I have Ping cotton polos, Adidas climacool and a few Nike breathable jobs which are great for summer golf. I find the cotton polos can get a bit sweaty on a warm day.

Mainly go for subdued colours as I have no desire in drawing attention to myself on the golf course.
If you have the balls to wear loud gear, you have to have the game to back it up imo.

Re: Loud Golf Shirts

Have quite a few Pings myself. Found a place that do them for £20 in my size. Would really like some Lyle and Scott shirts but I'm still too chunky

I turned down the fluorescent yellow one, and went for electric blue and super red.

I have the same issue, bit I would say im fat rather than chunky :D

I like Ralph Lauren Polo's as they fit me perfectly and I can get them multibuy for cheaper than I would normally pay for other brands.

Re: Loud Golf Shirts

2x19.99 on polo shirts at uniqlo. They look nice and the quality is acceptable.
