Golf Random Irritations

The fact that basically all golf coverage seems to use Red = Good on the scorecard. Is golf the only sport that does this? And then they can't standardise on what colour to use for bad.

I think we said this during the last open, where different broadcasters were using opposite colour schemes which made it even more confusing!

I'm with you, make birdies green and bogeys red. Brighter green for eagles, burgundy for doubles and triples.

Never understood why wide brimmed hats aren't more popular on the golf course. Keeps the sun off your neck and out of your eyes fair better tham baseball hats. I used to wear one out when on holiday in Portugal but never wore it here. I guess we're all just hopeless sheep who have to copy the pros on TV. Get Rory in one and they'll fly off the shelves.
 
Intelligent golf (maybe it’s not them but how it’s been setup by our club)

Doubles / Team comps … why the hell can’t it take it out of each members account rather than the person who created the team

Leaderboard functionality in the app it exists I’ve seen it before but it’s hardly ever available for comps the only reason I can guess is for cheating but surely you can just make it available after a score has been finalised

Topping up having to enter details again and again surely you should be able to save or use apple pay

I’d probably be better off emailing the admin than posting on here but never mind 😂

Pretty sure these frustrations are down to how it's been set up.

I have two cards saved for top-up - all I have to do on each top-up is pick the card and enter the CVV number.

As for the other things: these will be options that need to be set for each competition.

Not that I'm defending IG. It's got a terrible interface for setting up comps. Loads of options scattered about that you have to remember to proactively select and are easy to forget.

1. In regards the payments for team , IG treats it as a single entry so it’s a single payment - in singles comps and you enter others it’s multiple entries to it needs multiple payments -

recently it was updated so they just need to check then settings to put it to “per player” when setting up the comp as opposed to per team

2. Leaderboard just needs turned on

3. I use Apple Pay and you can also have auto top up enabled

At least, when you laser a pin and say 149 yards, Fragger doesn't pipe up 148.9 actually.....as his laser goes to decimal places....
Might start calling him Bernhard...........:rolleyes::ROFLMAO:

Yeah like you’re going to make a adjustment,when in reality you’re just preying that you catch ANY bit of the green 😆

This is your club not IG.
For example we have the leaderboard active during competitions.
