The worst anyone could ever give you is the old ball scooper to fetch your ball back from the water.....just a huge no no to have one of them in your bag!

What's wrong with having one? One of the lads I play with has one & I've been glad of it a few times. Was actually going to buy one myself.

Sorry to reply to my own post but because I replied to Dodgers post it didn't get moved back to the top of the list. Was Dodger being sarcastic or is there a reason why people don't like/use those ball scoopers?

Being a 24 handicap means steering clear of the water is hit or miss for me & the course I play on has quite a few lakes & drains which my shots seem to be attracted to :eek:

I've had my fair share of naff golf related present s& numerous digital score keepers, that quite frankly are useless & never store the sort of stants I'd want it to store. I've had boxes of Naff cheap balls, (especially odd as I do let reletives know what balls I do like) shoes that were too big for me, gloves that were too big for me. My best pressent was a golf Magazine subscription, now sadly lapsed.
