yup, I have received a few messages. I assume you have sent a message, via WhatsApp, to the number just stating GOLF?

We have set up a Whatsapp broadcast list, simply follow the instruction below to sign up

Just add +44 7984 023140 to your contacts and send ‘GOLF’ to subscribe

You will only receive messages from the Golf Monthly Whatsapp number, and no one else will be able to see your number.

Will be a great way to keep up with the latest golf news, club reviews and tips. Also will hopefully have some Whatsapp only competition prizes to be won in the near future.

Was hoping this feature would have a little more of the above

So what's the feedback on this then gents? I quite fancy it but I'm very reluctant to enter my email and phone number anywhere these days as all it seems to get used for is somebody publicising their business and spam.
Signed up for that Jason dransfield thing on here and now I get 15 emails a day from it and can't stop them.

Well I'm certainly not getting spam or 3rd party content but I'll soon drop out of the group if its just to promote an affiliate deal with a bookmaker

Legally, an unsubscribe link has to be provided for any group emails I believe. So there should be an option. Check the really, really small print if there is any.
I am surprised at how little comes through on it really. Before a tournament, the GM betting tips come through but that's about it. Since the 25th Feb (my first broadcast from GM) I have received 11 messages. Not too invasive at all.
