Oddsocks at nearly £1500 of fees I wouldn't even wait there must be a club you can join that would be cheaper?

My fees are £750 and green fees are £36 weekend and £32 midweek so need to play about twenty times to break even. I play at least once a week and use the practise facilities once a week. If can average the 52 rounds a year then works out at £14 a round which can't be sniffed at.

There's loads but a few great blokes at my club make it hard to leave

I will be moving to Knaphill in July/Aug.

I know there are many lovely courses around there, but are also expensive. I have used PineRidge’s driving range from time to time as it’s a 10 min drive from there.

Any suggestions Cah?

Royal Ascot is worth a shout. Hawkeye is a member too and they've frozen joining fees at the moment. Good course playable all year, decent facilities and a friendly membership with regular comps

Why not PM Hawkeye as he's only been there 6 months and see how he's finding it

£65 a month, and I play 3 times a week, (2 nines and an 18), and I use the practice facilities as well. I think I get superb value for money, in fact I couldn't afford to play like this if I was not a member of a club. I did look at Devere membership but it worked out very expensive as each 100 points are £295, basically it worked out at 30% dearer if I only played once a week, more often and it got ridiculous.
