They can if the course is less than 5 miles over the boundary. :)
We are two miles from the border with Dundee - our situation at the moment is that any four members from Angus (who could in theory be from up to about thirty miles away) can play comps in four balls - members from Dundee who may live as close as two miles away can only play social golf involving two households so mainly in effect in two balls.

It's not nonsense, the stay local rule is still in place and is being lifted early on Friday rather than the original 26th April. People who live in Perth and Kinross shouldn't be golfing in Fife for example. Its not the SGU's rule it's the governments

But from Friday onwards they can. The screenshot I posted from SG is about after Friday.

Apparently at Blairgowrie there are issues with recording General Play scores.

We use IG for bookings.

For gen play scores have the option of SG or IG. Used IG at first but have moved to SG when it was launched as you can post a score at any course in Scotland with it.

Yes.

This has potential to be an annoyance. Phone runs out of battery towards the end, you might need to drive back to the course to put the score through.
Or you could just make sure that your phone is fully charged when you start, charge it up in the car on the way to the course ?

I have some golf arranged in Fife in June and Highlands later. I realise it is similar to ‘how long is a piece of string’ but any thoughts on the situation in early June would be appreciate.

Many thanks
