We used to do that, but on sev holes where the edges got hacked to bits, esp as more and more people are playing in winter now. We also had problems with people having a funny idea where the edge was and just played from the dge of the fairway, now its everywhere apart from the rough.

That's shocking. Have to be a right a**ehole to hack up your fairways during the winter knowing full well that come the start of the season the course is going to be a mess.

alas as you say people are selfish, we have been on mats for at least the last 5 years for winter, quiet a few divots still :censored:

A wee touch of frost on my car but course will be fine on the coast.

Will be playing a lot as now on 2 weeks holiday..
just looked at the webcam and it looks fine at Nairn..phew.. they are very protective of the course this year with the Am only a few Months away
