Golf in Leeds

You're welcome to join me for a round at Cookridge, or somewhere else around the area if you fancy it
Played there and its a nice little knock. Not a big drivers course, you have to think your way round. When you get to the 18th par 4 have a go at driving the green ;) its easy if you have a slice :D err I mean fade.

Cookridge is North Leeds, which can be a pain to drive to from where you are at that time of day, nice course though. I'd say the easiest options for you are South Leeds, Oulton Hall and Garforth. Garforth being the nicest of the 3.

Cheers Chris. I wont have a car with me so will be taxi'ing it.
So closer the better for that aspect.

Beggsy plays south Leeds and says it has gotten better, taxis are pretty expensive round here, if you're stuck at all and wanting to play, I can give you a lift or something

A few of the Forum chaps played Alwoodly the other day and loved it. There or Moortown and you won't go far wrong. Moore Allerton is also a great course and 27 holes to pick from!

If you staying in leeds City centre I would play Oulton hall 3 loops of 9. If you playing after work you should have no problem getting on. Should be about £10 in a taxi.

Alwoodly, moortown, scarcroft are all great course but the wrong side of leeds from where he is staying, especially if playing after work.

If you are looking for Cheap and Cheerful then Temple Newsam is a very good Municipal with two full 18s and about the same in a taxi as South Leeds. Those two are your best bets for a local evening round in a taxi.
