Golf holiday ideas

Hi,

I haven't been on holiday in years and could do with a break. I'm looking for ideas for a golf break, maybe some recommendations. Where do you advise going? I'm a high handicap golfer, wouldn't necessarily want to play 36 holes a day, want to play some really nice golf courses. I guess there are a whole multitude of options.

UK or Europe (Spain), the main thing is I want to play well designed courses. I follow the fried egg on twitter which has got me into golf architecture.

Can't give you first hand experience, but heard great things about Gdansk in Poland. Great courses, good weather in the summer. Cheap.

Also near lake Bled, left field but good value for money and beautiful

La manga in Spain has 3 well designed courses. Cracking resort and some good deals to be had depending on time of year.
