Golf Digest IE events

Hi folks, just wondering if many of you play in these?

I have played a couple and usually good fun, I played the one at my home track on Oct 16th of last year, was a canny event, and I was fortunate enough to pick up a nearest the pin prize on one of the par 3's.

Well, I received an envelope saying to contact GD and did so, it was for a stay at roe park resort for 2 with golf, great prize I thought.

Got an email back saying it would be sorted and prize sent out, but after several months of communicating, I have received nothing but email saying it will be sorted, or so and so is not available etc.

Am I being impatient? Has anyone else had issues in the past, I know one of the other winners and his voucher was present on the day.

I am bit miffed if I am honest as it would be nice to get a day away and play the course etc

I have never won one or heard of anyone winning one.

But surprised that they don't have that organised in advance of the competition. Did the other winner's receive their prizes on the day?

Yep, the prizes are great and it's always seems well run which is why I getting a litter miffed.
