Hi chaps, im going to be in leeds on an overnight in the next few weeks and was looking to play a track somewhere within and hours drive of leeds.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

I like american style course with water but i also enjoy short but testing tracks where you need to think about the next shot as well Depending on the time i would want somehwere that is fairly quiet and would be no more than a 4 hour round (3 hours if i can)

Any suggestions welcome.

I wouldnt want to pay much miore then £30 or £35 for the round, tight scots git

Actually it is, some very good courses around that part of the country. A couple of Alistair McKenzie designs plus a few nice courses in the hills just outside the city. Check out Alwoodley, Moor Allerton and if you can manage the drive out there, Ganton to see if they have any winter deals on.

Moor Allerton is lovely, has some water and lots of raised greens.

They had a round before 9.00 for £19.50 in March, doubt it will be on in April, but try them, but its normally £60 plus I think.

Have only played a couple near Leeds - Oulton as others have mentioned is a nice spot - might be over your budget - its a devere
Horsforth is lovely - its up by the airport, a bit hilly, usually always windy and tricky ;) its in budget!!
