we are looking to do a 4/5 night europe golf break
would like to twin it with some history and culture….
any where in europe you would suggest to do both?
not the uk or ireland
thanks

The Netherlands has a truly huge amount of history and culture, can be reached by a night on a ferry (makes transport easy) and has several courses that bounce round top 100 lists…

What options are around Bruges? I appreciate I could just Google courses but I wouldn't know what is good or bad. Belgium is just a ferry ride away so an interesting option.

Try looking at a ranking list:

I’ve not played golf in Belgium but looks like there’s some nice courses 👍

what courses/ resorts would you suggest?
Golf du Medoc has two great courses, both heathland, has staged the French Open. Lacanau by the coast is really good, golf de Margaux is nice.
There are others round the edge of Bordeaux too, e.g. Bordeaux Lac and Cameyrac, but not as good as the others. A little bit south Gujan Mestras and Arcahon are good too.
All these are under an hour drive from the city centre.
There are various golf passes you can buy which combine 3 or 4 courses which you can play for a discount.
We have always stayed in the city centre, pedestrianised, great wine bars and restaurants.
