I asked several months ago for a good instructional DVD; Tom Watsons Lessons of a Lifetime, was a great recomendation.

I am now looking for a book which will explain or instruct me on golf tactics, rules and how to 'behave' on the golf course etc etc - I am a virtual beginner.

I think the swing is best demonstarted by DVD, but some of the other stuff mentioned is probably mainly still in text.

Any book, or even DVD recomendations are appreciated.

Thanks

Without doubt the best book I've read has been bob rotella's golf is not a game of perfect! Made me more confident in every aspect of my game, improved my attitude during a round and helped me enjoy the game more! Couldn't recommend it more! In the round I played after reading it I shot my best score of the year even though my driver was being very disobedient!

Oh and it does have some course management tactics in it as well
