As it is the quality of my ball strike that is by a country mile the factor that determines where my ball ends up all I can say is..

1) Any premium ball
2) Any mid-range ball
3) Pretty much any budget ball

That said I try to stick to the same ball and that’s a ProV1 (makes it easier to remember the ball I’m playing ?), but if I don’t have one in my bag I‘m really not fussed - especially during winter or when out by myself.

Well since this topic originally came around 18 months ago my top 3 has changed slightly.
I was using Bridgestone RX/RXS but then I switched to TaylorMade Tour Response, played them all last season and they were very good too. This year though I'm biting the bullet and going up a little bit in price to play the Titleist AVX, have tried one or two that I found, they feel good and should be ideal for me to get distance and control round the greens. So there's my new top 3.
