2 or 3 nights for a long weekend in January. 2 rounds.

Tight budget to attract more of the gang as we already go away twice a year.

Had a quick look into the canary islands but it seems the winter is their most expensive time of year.

January in Canaries has been expensive for ages, everyone doing new year travel seems to be the thing.

With shifting weather patterns its also hard to predict what the Jan/Feb weather will be like. Went out to southern Spain end of November year past and it was 28 degrees and in a late year heatwave.

Put an enquiry in to Golfbreaks or the like and see what they come back with.

I’d give Alicante a look.
Cheap flights, cheap accommodation, still be plenty of places to go in the city to eat and drink.
Play El Plantio and Alicante Golf. They are the cheapest green fees in the area.

We are going to Marrakesh in January for 3 nights 2 rounds of golf , buggies included. Staying in a 4 star hotel All inclusive. Plus flights from Manchester . £650
I was going to suggest this - we went this year in early Feb (not for golf) and it was a lovely 25 degrees all day. Loads to do off the golf course as well.
