Goals for 2016?

To get under 6 hcap via improved putting and short game. Lessons start again at end of January, and I'm enrolling back in pilates class at the same time to improve core strength and mobility.

I want to win back our Claret Jug replica. My partner and I lost 3 and drew one in that comp amongst 'friends' in 2015.

Courses ? Trump and Carnoustie with GM in May, North Berwick and Archerfield are also on the hit list.

To get my 6yr old daughter out on the course with me as she started her range lessons in 2015.

Lastly, to continue loving this great game.

A single figure handicap again would be nice, but unlikely as I am approaching 70 and can't hit a golf ball very far any more! Maybe just staying at 12 handicap is more realistic? :(

Hit my target of 18 this year so next year 14 is the target, which will get me into Div 1 at my club.
Currently happy with my driving, fairways and hybrids and putting. Going to really focus on hitting greens from 150yds and in, as I reckon thats the weakest part of my game, and if I can hit more GIR the par putts will start turning into birdie putts.
Also want to play a few more links courses.

First priority is to get over the attack of the s****s which has seemingly sprung up from nowhere following the stop stop start nature of my golf since the end of October...

After that, kick on and continue the progress I made this summer, hopefully resulting in a handicap cut and a few wins or places along the way. I hope to play more and to continue to enjoy myself.

Last aim is to stay injury free between now and April, something I haven't managed for the last couple of years.

To get down to 5 again and stay there for longer than I have managed before.

i only need to hole more putts, so focussing on that is my new year resolution.

My goal is single figures, that's per hole by the way :D

And to decimate the old farts at forest pines, no mercy

To get to single figures, I only need 0.6 off but its still a biggie for me.

I would also like to qualify for the knockout stages of a scratch comp.

To embrace the new 90% difference rule :p

After a 3&2 loss off 3/4 of the difference and them getting 8 shots each in the winter league last Sunday, I'm looking forward to finishing and shaking on the 14th hole instead of the 16th next year.............. Embrace.........I think not.

To stay within a shot off fish would be good

Catch up and overtake Craig huds would be great

However if none of them occur, just to be a better ball striker would probably see a hc cut
