In relation to that Duncan , not sure how is is done?

Nairn is par 71 sss73 ladies is par 74 sss74

Look at it this way

a lady playing to handicap would shoot 74 and get 36 points but a man would shoot 73 and get 34 - so in this instance either the men's handicaps should be increased by 2 or the ladies reduced by the same (you adjust handicap not points scored).
at our course you add one to ladies when men playing off yellow tees but subtract for white or blue where the SSS increases without an increase in par.

Don't worry Karen, I won't be doing the same as last year , no one will be made to pay to play in the comp unless they want to . I will have to get a couple of mates in to sign people on as I only have a certain number of times available to me and it wouldn't be fair to ask them to pay .
