Given todays weather?????

Given the horrid weather today, would you deem 36 points stableford a respectable score.

The rain was pretty constant very blustery and pretty cold.

How have other people scored in comps today?

Bonus is I got a NTP, get in..........

I would say 34-37 ios good sacoring. It was the same conditions with us here.

had 31, and found that a struggle, everything was wet and miserable. should not have even been out.

it could not be good for your game.

Cheers forthat. I found the wind made the tee shots a little more tricky, but my irons were pretty rock solid, jsut clubbed up 2 clubs given the wind was in excess of 25 MPH.

Blobbed 3 holes so think 36 was good for me and the weather.

Especially as my partners were off much lower handicaps and nether broke 23 points.

Good shooting Steve anytime you shoot to your handicap is good esp in either wind or rain ..Do you mind if i say i found this a strange question ,simply coz im wondering why you had to ask if shooting your handicap in less than good conditions is good ??? any day i play to mine im happy , of course i aim to get below it but playin to it proves at least i have the right handicap .. were you dissapointed in your score ?? ok you had 3 blobs i think it was , but you handicap allows for the chance of this ,, what do you think you could/should have had .. sorry i shot 80 nett 71 (par 72)in the rain n wind, out in 7over 44 back in 1 over 36 , bogeyd all 4 par 5's which never ususly happens . coulda been better but happy not to be geting .1 back

Anytime you play to your handicap is a good round and if the conditions are tricky then even more so

We didnt have much rain and only occasional strong gusts! Manages to get out during the best of the weather and shot 3 under my handicap for a nice little cut by the sounds of your conditions 36 sounds a very good score!!
