Getting Closer To Breaking 80

Lovely day for golf in Fife today, 4th round since I started playing again and getting ever closer to breaking 80 for the 1st time since I returned to the game. 41 out and 39 back left me just one shy of my target, 3 putting 13 and 14 didn't help but these were compensated somewhat by holing good putts on 7 and 18.

Still plenty of work to do, especially on the short game but getting there. Next game on Monday, hopefully then.

Dont try and break 80. See how close you can get to 75 and 80 will take care of itself.

Not too bad, a lot more forgiving than my previous set, however blocked 2 or 3 shots straight right, not sure if the offset is causing this (more than likely down to a dodgy swing ), today was the 1st full round I have used them in and they do feel good. I'm probably gaining 10-15 yards against my old set, so very pleased

breaking 80 is also something i want to do this year too

but I am probably only going to play about 10 rounds so it could be interesting, best so far from 2 tries is 88

Just envious, still trying to break 100 on a regular basis...maybe this summer?
