Gender inequality

I've often thought that the tee's should be defined by skill/handicap level rather than Gender.

Instead of :-
Red - Ladies
Yellow - Mens
White - Competition

Why not have:-
Red - Beginner/Junior/hcp 28+
Yellow - Intermediate/hcp 10 to 27
White - Advanced/comp/hcp 9 and below

It's simple, at our club we do have equality. Competitions are open to everyone playing from your own tees. You book with who you want to play with and play with them. My last comp was myself, a senior, a junior and a lady in our four ball. Total equality which is why we joined our club.

Also they have ladies competition tees here too.

Ladies Reds?

Worth noting that that's for a Scratch level Lady (or Man). If they are 4 shots different, imagine the difference an 'average, 15-18' lady would be.

No yellows, I thought you were asking what SSS the yellow tees were for the girls, did I misunderstand? Just in case...

Men have
White: Par 70, SSS 70
Yellow: Par 70, SSS 69

Ladies have
Yellow Par 70, SSS 73
Red: Par 70, SSS 69
