Garmin s1 ???

Ok so today I took the plunge and bought my first GPS aid for golf!
My question is when your at home are you guys able to select your local courses when you select play round? As mine just continually tries to load with no success.

I'm goin to my local tomorrow and will give it another try then. I'm just a little concerned ATM.

Any help apreciated.

No Ben you can't select it sitting at home, once at the course you're playing just switch it on a it'll recognise where you are and show the course. That's what mine does anyway, only purchased it on Thursday and used it yesterday, great piece of kit.

It will if you go outside and pickup a gps signal

It will show nearest course but you can scroll through until your local club is shown

I have the S3 and the S2 is now out

All very good devices

Hi Ben,I have the S1 approach with no problems,even when in Portugal , brother in law has the garmin G6 and couldn't get one of the course(Laranjal) to come on but S1 no problem.

It's picked up my local courses this morning whilst I'm still at home.
