Just out of interest - what gapping do you carry in your wedges?

My PW is 46 - I then have a 52,54,60. But I'm thinking of getting rid of the 54/60 and replacing them with just a 58.

Also what brand do you use?

i think my PW is 47 but have Mizuno MP10, 50, bent to 51/ 6deg bounce and mp10 56/14 deg bounce. 3 is enough for me, prefer to have a 3 iron in the bag than an extra wedge, though there is the odd time i may go in one of the really deep pot bunkers at mine and wish i had a 60, but just have to take my medicine in those cases.

PW is 45
I have 50/54 and 58 but they all do different jobs and i can hit them all with a normal swing as well as most speeds in between

My PW is 44 and then I have 48/52/56

Also have a 60 in the garage which I used occasionally in the winter when the sand in the bunkers is like concrete

46
50
54
60

I keep the 4* between all my irons except the 60 wedge. Mainly use that for feel shots around the green and it only has 4* of bounce.

What ??!!I really wouldn't know what to do with 5 wedges. Which clubs do you drop to allow you to carry that many?

I normally carry Driver, 3 Wood, rescue, 5,6,7,8,9 irons and the wedges above. My home course is not overly long, so very rarely use a 3 or 4 iron. The small distance gap in the wedges suits. if playing a longer course I would normally drop the 60 and take the 4 iron.

14 mposts to a gapping thread and not a single reference to a yardage...

Can't help feeling somethings getting missing (something important possibly)

I've just dropped my 58* Icy wedge as I've been learning and practising with the 52* and there isn't a shot I can hit with the 58 that I can't do with the 52. I have a 55 in but that has a completely different grind and bounce and is for bunkers only although I can hit it 100 full out.
I think what Seve did with just a 56* and learn how to manipulate the loft, ball position, angle of shaft and manipulating of hands was just genius. I think technology has taken shot making ability out of the game.

Pitching wedge is 46 and I've got 50, 56 and 60.

50 is essentially a gap wedge that I use for 90-100 yards and for 40-50 yard pitched

56 from around the green for most chips

60 for bunkers and flop shots
