Gaming mice

Just got myself a new Cybord RAT5 gaming mouse to replace my ageing Razer Diamondback Magma that was 6 years old if it was a day!

I also replaced my 6 year old Steel Series hard plastic gaming mouse mat with a Roccat Sota soft metal weave mat, which is a phenomenal surface!

I am loving the competitive match-up mode in game on CS:GO, with my new gear I can finally point where I want to!

I was going to buy the Roccat mouse but it looked overpriced, they are a cracking company BTW, I love my Kave headset!

I feel I now have the setup I need to actually compete online, just played a ranked match and came back from 11-15 down to tie 15-15 with me taking out 3+ players for the last 4 rounds to make the tie!

Pity my trip to the driving range was a waste of time, after 15 balls my swing abandoned me and I kept thinning everything low and right!

I bought this same model of mouse a few months back Tom, it's pretty strange looking but it's very functional. Once I had it set up, I found I was doing better in BF3 games. I also got the keyboard with it as my 11 year old dell keyboard was looking pretty worn.

Been using a CM Storm Inferno for a couple of years now, coupled with a SteelSeries Surface QcK mat... has really made a huge difference to my gaming enjoyment.

Replaced an intelli 3 with a 510 and then the 518. Been through about 4 of them now lol

mx518 here, before that was a razer deathadder. cack handed so cant use any fancy mice

I dont game anymore as old age has caused me to get owned all too easily

I have found the precision mode button really useful when doing graphic design work and picture editing. Yet to use it in game as CS:GO is a bit fast paced for it. The button is a little out of reach as well, I have to move my hand slightly to get to it as my thumb naturally rests on the thumb button. I am sure with some training I could get to use it in the heat of combat.

What was nice is that changing mice has changed my ability, I went from getting called something useless to being invited to a private matchup based on my intelligent gaming and skill!

Pretty amazing turn of events in just 24 hours!
