absolutely stunning series, last one tonight but at least theres a third series but not until 2013 unfortunately

Yeah , i'm hooked!!! Thought the 1st series was way better than the 2nd though and that the 2nd has taken a little while to get going.

Have you read the books ??? They are just as good !!! I hope its not one of these shows that is so popular in the USA that they drag out the tv version for bloody ages.

I'm hooked...but to the books. Currently half way through book three. I've not watched any of the series' yet though but have heard nothing but good things. The books so far have been awesome.

Superb series. It has been slow this second series although its been getting better.

Books are good, not seen any of the series, book 5 was a bit of a slog. First half very average, second half got better!!

Agree that the first series had more ooomph about it but this one has been picking up a bit. I've also read all the books and the last 2 were slow going tbh

Hate it. David is as hooked as you guys though so it's Sky+ and watched when I'm somewhere else!!

Thank heavens for Sky+ as my favourite medical programmes are also to be watched when he's somewhere else.

Another addict, got the books on my reading list but promised to read "Atlas shrugged" first which my 17yr old son recommended - really struggling to make headway, hate all the characters.

Love it. Tyrion Lannister is my fav character, Peter Dinklage is awesome in the role. There are many other good characters in there, too many to mention as they are not necessarily the star players, at least not yet.

I would just get wired into book one.

The books cover the story in far greater detail.

Had been thinking about it but after the recommendations here I've just started the first book. Promising start... if I like it I'll maybe watch the DVD afterwards. (The book is always better)
