Hi all, I thought I'd do this as a seperate one, to not fill up the other xmas game thread.

I've just booked the fourball deal at 10.36 tomorrow at Frodsham, the first 3 to reply will get the spaces.

It is 19.75 each, full 18 holes, buggies and a festive baguette - I've just checked all 18 holes/tees are on, the course is taking buggies (which says a lot) and no hollow tining either - bargain.

I'm still willing to go ahead, even if we only get 3 - any takers?

BTW, they also have the tee time afterwards as well, so if we get 7 or 8, can book another time, also. It is a good course also, I've played it a few times myself in the last few years.

The weather is overcast, but forecast no rain until 3 ish.

Let's be having you.......

I an up for it, just one fly in the ointment, my car, so I cant commit until I speak to the garage. I will be on to them first thing in the morning.

OK Louise, we'll see if any more later.

The tee time is 10.36 and I'll be leaving at about 9.15 (or cancelling if we don't have the numbers), so will you know earlier?

If so PM or post on here, and also await developments tonight.

Good evening!! Sorry ive not been on earlier guys, was rough as a bag of rusty nails this morning and had a family do this afternoon. Not much fun when your shaking like a pooing dog :)

Iam deffo in for tomorrow. Ive not played for a month though so dont laugh :)

Good lad Birchy, weather forecast seems to have changed since, but I'm still game.

Louisea (possible)

Birchy, do you live far from Louise? Could you car-share, if Louise's car is indisposed? Just thinking out loud.

I'm game if only 3, would cost around £26.50 each then, but a fourth would be better.......

LB, I need to find out whats the latest I can pick my car up if its not ready by 9.30am, are they finishing at lunchtime as its Christmas Eve? or whether I can get them to let me keep the courtesy car regardless, I am going to go down at 8am and look pitiful, 91 year old mum relying on me and all that stuff, I will let you know as soon as I can.

I can pick up if needed but i can only set off at 9 so as long as its not too far out of the way it should be fine :)

Hey Guys and Gals,

Hope you all have a good day this morning. Just a bit jealous but to make up for it we had another 4 inches drop overnight to go with the bucket loads we already have.

Well, i shall have to make up for it with an hour and a half skiing washed down with the gym and a run this afternoon.

Look forward to getting some games in next year and here's wishing all of you all the best for Crimbo

All the best Steve.

A good day was had today, despite a little rain, not much fortunately, Nice to play with LB and Birchy again as always, driving around in the buggy was great fun, especially with the skidding and sliding on the muddier parts of the course, the festive baguettes were very good too and all in all it was great value, Cheers for whoever spotted it.

As for the golf, well Birchy won with 38 points, first nine of 20 was particularly good, LB won nearest the pin, I had a decent first 9 for 16 points but despite mostly driving well my long irons let me down and I fel lapart on the back nine.
