So what are you plans for the weekend? Seems like a mild one down here so a least hoping to not get wet/frozen.

Playing in a Yellow Ball comp for me, should be a good laugh as it puts some pressure on each player when they have to play the yellow ball.

Playing tomorrow in the Winter League stableford.

Meant to be howling a gale so should be fun :)

The winter eclectic is still going and I'm leading at the moment so if the weather is really bad I'll be hoping to improve on a couple of the holes.......

Round one of The Daily Mail tomorrow. Playing away at The Cromwell. Played there yesterday and greens soaked through so as it's rained all day today they will be ankle deep I think. Played most of yesterday from an awkward spot after a wayward drive but back on track today. Out first so will be very nervous but really looking forward to it as matchplay just seems to make a different golfer of me and I love it! HID is my caddy and he used to be a member there so will be very useful and he is a very good caddy.

Sunday I have another winter league match so looking to make it 4 wins out of the last 4 having only managed a draw and 2 losses previously.

House is full of golf gear hopefully drying out after 18 very wet holes today!!

Have a fab weekend all

rain battering the windows here................AGAIN:angry:

Indoor range with rubbish balls once again

Still waiting for a good day to see what the new pings do on a reasonable day without frost and temporary greens, but looks like gales predicted are not going to reward a good ball flight so a low under the wind swing will creep in to spoil the immaculate swing I have built.

Another weekend of frustration.

I can Still I've hit a few balls and homed my swing into the normal weekend rubbish so I'll be my usual little or no help. I'm putting all my faith in these all singing all dancing can't go wrong super clubs he's invested in

What happened to positive Homer? If it makes you feel any better I've been down the range for the last two nights and there's no reason to believe I'll be any worse or better with the new bats than I was with the old ones.

No golf , knee still knackered. Burns night around the club tomorrow evening, formal dress though so will be in DJ, Bow tie, Denim kilt and trainers (Excused boots)

P.S.
I think there is a rule that the Captain can push through at the bar if he shows his sporran.

Was at the range earlier as a warm up then out early for a knock tomorrow.

My mate is up for 9 but then has to shoot off so unless we pick up a stray to make a 3 ball up I will be going solo for the back 9. Practice time :)

Played 18 today, +3 with two missed putts from under 4ft.

Slight drizzle, 18 holes in full waterproof gear and winter mitts but great to be out getting a knock, fresh air and exercise.

Course was saturated underfoot.

Hope to get 18 in on Sunday.
