With our course still closed and with more rain forecast almost every day running up to and inclusive of Friday, its highly unlikely my course will be open for our scramble on Friday 28th, and if it is, it will be very very wet!

So, has anyone got anything arranged on a heathland or links course or wants to arrange something now?

Happy to travel to get a decent knock.

Spartacus ?

I am sure that's what you said,,,, am sure we could find a place for you at Leven on Friday if you want to travel....

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas to one and alll:rofl:

Yes, a little worse for wear :o

Would love to Sam but that's a bit more than a 1 day turnaround. When I come to play you up there I'd want to stay for 2-3 days to justify the travel and costs and hopefully then play with you, Kenny & Stevie at Leven and Glenbervie.

Another time, have a good match Friday, see your batting for GM!

Glenbervie will be swimming Robin. Wait til next summer.

That's effectively what I'm saying, otherwise I would have gone up for the 2 day meet but its far too expensive to go and play off mats in the wet.

Mind you, my summer is booking up quickly with all the opens I have entered. Just waiting to enter in February for the Wirral Classic now.

Still looking for this Friday, can't see KGC being open for the scramble.

i'm booking a tee time at Staverton Park for Friday tee up about 1030. Your welcome to join if you wish. I think there is 3 of us so far, I haven't told them yet.

My annual game of tennis with a lunch after in the pub. Used to get blotto but age has put an end to that. I bet it will be too wet to play but lunch will still be on.

If you want to get organised myself smange and bayjon are for ballyliffin for the princely sum of €30 ;) might be a bit far though :D

I looked at Staverton myself before your post time and it was fully booked for the morning but they also said they couldn't make a decision on the course being open until that morning! I don't think it will cope with much more rain, the greens would be OK but the fairways I think will struggle.

Just a bit too far but thanks for the invite ;)

Would have been happy to meet up at Worcester Friday Fish (Asparagus) but I have to work. maybe another time.

Would have been nice and easy to to travel to, never mind, another time. Both Worcester tracks are on my hit list for 2013.
