Four matching woods / Nine matching irons....
remember buying golf clubs this way...out of two boxes?
If you're old enough, you do.
Matched sets were the order of the day.

It's been a while, hasn't it?
Now sets look more like this:

I wonder is the diversity of options outways the perfectly matching swingweights. Thoughts?

One unfortunate aspect of the set above is....well, count the number of club slots on the Ping bag.
A fairway wood splitting the difference between the 17.5 and the 20.5 is probably the best solution.
One doesn't break many flagsticks from that distance anyway.

Is the putter easy enough to use?

Modern putter technology is supposed to be an improvement over its 1925 equivalent.
If said technology has proven beneficial to you, you'd best stick with it.

I'm of the opinion, however, that the next effective putter design to hit the pro shops will be the very first. Ever.
That being the case for me, I'd just as soon putt with something that looks good.

I have only just started so if I am going to 4 put on a green I may as well look good whilst doing it!
