I've gone for alignment, impact, course management & mental approach.

I figure the basics are that you've got to hit the ball well, in the right direction to the correct places and know why you are doing it!

Grip, alignment, stance and posture (tempo next)

The need for a good mental game and course management comes after getting these fundamentals right in my opinion

Has to be grip, posture, alignment and tempo for me.

At my first lesson my pro said "the swing isn't too bad - we can tweak it now and see instant improvement, or we can go back to the fundamentals - it will take some getting used to, and you might feel you've gone backwards, but if you ever want to do well consistently, it's the place to start'

And so we went to the fundamentals - new grip, new posture, better alignment, and smoother swing.

As a guy working in the construction industry, I know that without a well engineered set of foundations, whatever you build off them won't stay stable for long.

Posture, Tempo, alignment, Course management

Posture I think includes grip and stance
Tempo because I have a tendency to swing too fast off the tee and too slow with the wedge
Alignment because the first two are useless if you're going the wrong way
Course management because that includes vision and mental approach
