Forum member at Q-School this week

And to think that a year ago, he was a 28 handicapper, but then he posted a swing video on "Ask an opinionated amateur" and look where the advice got him :D :D :p

Puts my 74 in the July midweek medal to shame doesn't it :D

Great job getting through Jason. Best of luck in the next round. I'm sure your fellow forumers will be rooting for you.

i get the feeling ive missed something lol

Hehe, yea. He was joking. Jason's been a touring pro for a while. Since at least 2006 (seen his Challenge Tour card from that year - dodgy photo is an understatement. Doesn't even look like him! ;)).

Best of luck for the next step Jason.

Local lad, plays out of Royal Liv by the looks of things.

Great stuff, well done and good luck. Would be great if the forum had its own European PGA Tour player.

Makes all our posts about how we did in the midweek stableford look a bit tame doesn't it.

Thanks guys for all your support, very much appreciated. I will put a run down of each round on my blog over the next few days. I will give a little spoiler by saying I birdied the 17th which was playing 222yds with a 6ft putt after hitting a 5 iron in and then chipping in on 18 for par to make it on the number. Pretty happy at the moment, but hard work will start again tomorrow. Thank you again everyone.
