Apart from Benn Barham who was a junior at my club I have just spotted another ex player Jason Barnes playing at La Manga and after round 1 is tied 47th on +1. 2 player in tour school , not bad for a small private club!

Our Jase has his work cut out now.
Sadly he's languishing in a tie for 54th place, +3, after a 75 - 2 doubles...!!

Leader on -10 .

Keep the chin up Jason!

Benn came in with another 66. Great scoring and well deserved.
A very long time ago I caddied for my husband when he got his card. Never known anything so nerve wracking! And that was then...the guys out there are under so much pressure these days. Best of luck to every one of them.

Good Boy!!

So, keep it going for another 2 rounds, then get through the 6 rounds of Tour School Final, then get a manky ranking and only get to play the smaller events with small prize funds.
Q school grads get a better ranking than those who miss their cards on the main Tour but not as good a ranking as those who qualify from the Challenge Tour.
