Forget Tiger, Brandt Snedeker is on fire

His record in three previous Opens is three missed cuts. Have a feeling he may not be so good in the wind. Think Adam Scott is the one to beat.

It was the same for louis oosthuizen before he won, 3 missed cuts then a win. The wind is due to get up on Sunday afernoon which will make things interesting

He played the last round with Immelman when he won the masters in 2008 so has a taste of leading in a major. Got a feeling the leaderboard could bunch today though.

The next to two days will be a test of least mistakes I reckon. Any of the currwnt top 10 with no mistakes after today will have a chance tomorrow.

Looks interesting, and I have to say I even said it out loud in my house that Tiger would hole that bunker shot. His tail is up for sure but he has a task getting by those currently in form too.

Anyone that remembers Bobby Clampett, will know you can never be far enough ahead after round 2.

Snedecker is not Clampett. Clampett had an interesting but very rigid method, and once one part of it went out of whack the whole thing fell apart. Not sure he will win, but I don't think he will have a total meltdown either.

It's unlikely that Snedeker is going to be holing the same length of putts today or tomorrow. Putting 2 low ones together is not done often, 3 is unlikely and 4 is almost unheard of.

Don't think Snedeker will collapse but think the chasers will bunch up - 13 under wins it for me.

It's a good target but it may not even be that low if the forecast for tomorrow is right.

2 great days left
