Flex causing a slice?

Hi guys I've been hitting an old burner driver with a regular flex off of the tee for the past couple of years and for the most it's been quite reliable. However, lately I've been ramping up the golf and I think my swing speed has increased and all off a sudden I've noticed that my drives are starting out straight then tailing off into a massive slice at the end. I've chopped and changed my stance and how quickly I close the face on impact and neither are doing much good. Is it time to bite the bullet and go for a new driver with a stiffer shaft? Or are there any other pointers for curing this?

Cheers guys.

All to do with an out to in swing path. This may have developed as a result of a change in your swing if you are playing more. Ask your pro to tape up a few drivers and try various shafts and lofts out. Its a good excuse to try some new toys out as well ;)

Thanks guys. Sounds like I'll be heading down to the club to try some stiffer shaft drivers! Any excuse for something new and shiny. Will try and see if my swing is going out to in too. I suppose this is where those analysis apps come into their own.

If your shaft is regular and your swing speed is getting faster, I'd expect to see the ball go left if anything, not right.
Ease back on the power at the change of direction at the top of the swing and see if that straightens it out.

Thanks bobmac. If the flex being too soft should push it left then it's probably my swing that's the problem and as was mentioned sounds like an out to in swing causing the spin.

Cheers for the help on this one. :)
