Flag position

We have a board by the practice area that denotes what pin positions are being used (Pin Positions 1-5) and then the pin will be in one of those pin areas as best decided by the green staff for the integrity of the playing surface.

I think 5 is the pin position reserved for big club comps i.e get your name on the board in the clubhouse. The remaining four positions are for general play and club comps each weekend.

As for pretty colours and cute flags half way up the pole, you must be joking!

I agree it is so simple, but why do a lot of clubs not do it ?
