Hi all,
On my xmas list this year are golf shoes and as my mother has no clue about golf she has told me to select them. I really want some myjoys and i was just wondering if anyone knew how much extra it is to personalise the shoe. I was looking at the cheaper shoe that Footjoy do, the 'Lopro'. I want it in a white base, purple saddle, yellow accent. With my initials and a smiley face. :) It doesn't say a price on the website. :( If its too much money then i'll give them a miss, but i would like them customized.
Cheers

I think they were around the £100-£110 mark and take at least a month so if you want em for christmas (why would you though, they'd be wrecked before the good weather), get your order in asap.

For the myjoy icons, they range from £150-170 depending on what model you go for.

The sports were about £150 and the assymetrical £170.

Not sure how much other models are.

I was looking at getting another pair, and last day for normal delivery in time for Christmas is Nov 26th, so don't hang around if you want some!

I think its free depending on what shoes you order. When i was going to order some last year that was what i was told by the local FJ dealer.

feary if it helps my son had Lopros and was disappointed with them due to lack of support for the foot. I know everyone to their own but try a pair on in the pro shop, walk about and try a few swings then imagine when they loosen up a bit
:D

I didn't like the lo pro either and they felt quite enstable even walking around the shop and wasn't sold on the actual look once I had them on. If it helps, once you have designed your shoe, you can print it off and take it to whichever FJ stockist you like and so can haggle over the price. I got my Dryjoys and Icons done for £10 over RRP through my club pro

the myjoys are too expensive and the number of models on offer are too limited. im wanting to get some new shoes myself and since im virtually a yeti without all the hair i was looking at the myjoys as well before finding out that the only model where theres a big enough size option were the FJ icons, which would cost me about 250. just a tad too much by my reckoning

I won't be shopping at ur store. Your way off the mark, the sports at about £89, dryjoys are £99 at a good golf shop near you.....

Really?

I'm about to buy two more pairs, so show me some icons for less than £150 and I'll be biting someones hand off.

Given RRP is £220, I honestly thought it was a good deal.

They're just the standard icons though, I don't see any myjoys there.

I might drop them an email though, if they do the myjoy version for the same price, then I'll go for it.

I've just been quoted £159.99 for myjoy icons in either assymetric or wing tip

That's the price I last got on the assymetrics, not £170, so I lied earlier (by £10). If there really is an amazing deal much cheaper, I'll have a look, but for a tiny change, or the same, I prefer to be loyal to my current shop.

How many pairs of shoes do you have now Homer?
:D

Just the 11 to play in and an old pair for the range

I hope you don't mind me asking...
If you already have 12 pairs of shoes, why on earth are you getting a quote for yet another pair?

[/QUOTE]

That's like asking "if you have already had 9,637 lessons, then why bother getting another one" :D
