First outing for the new swing...............................

...............on Saturday.

This will be the first time that I'll be taking it out onto the course, and I'm nervous. I know that I shouldn't be, but it's just in my make-up.

Luckily it's only a friendly, with a regular partner, so the presure is off a bit; but even so.

think positive mate.... i did the same on new years eve.
played a friendly with a brand new swing and beat my mate 3&2 who i'll probably only beat once a season if i'm lucky.

Itching to get on the course now as not played since.

I was fine til I entered a 36 hole stroke play as my first comp. Got to about the 14th, 5 over par, and then melted when I stopped trusting the swing that had got me that far round. Stupid really.

Key thing is, don't try to think about swing changes on the course.

Stick with it, dont worry if you play crap just try and do what you were doing on the range and enjoy the good ones. I have a new and I hope final swing and its not easy to take it from range to course but it will get easyer every time.

shorter the better, that way people wont look at the swing you and james created.

Have fun hapless. I've been playing so much better since I've just been playing for fun and the swing changes I have been working on have just naturally kicked in. The second I've started thinking about it ...
