First outing for the new swing...............................

Not sure why it's a secret but in case you're wondering Graham broke 100 first time out with his new swing, not bad for a 24 h/cap with a brand new swing and has now played a total of twice in 3 months!

I think that's a brilliant result.. and I hope it's onwards and 'downwards' for the rest of the year.

Okay. The long and the short of it!

I will add something as I know that there is at least one that's interested in the new swing and how it develops.

As James says. Can't really grumble. I've hardly played this winter, a completely new swing, and some quite shoddy greens after the rain this last week.

Worst issue was fatting. several second shots for GIR were fats, though the second attempt would work out quite well. The guys I was playing with noticed an improvement. One penalty from a pushed tee shot that couldn't be found, which is a bonus as I tended to suffer a bit from that. But predominately the tee shots were either spot on or pushed, but at least still in play.

If I remember correctly, the pushes can be corrected either by playing more in to out, with the clubface left where it is, or by closing the clubface to nearer a square position.

Overall, quietly confident for the forthcoming season. Especially with the 2 net eagles, 3 net birdies and the 6 net pars. As for the couple of blow ups, if I didn't have them I wouldn't be stuck with this h'cap! But that's my lot in this this game.

I'd thought that I would post the stats, simply because, I didn't see the point in putting 32 points and 4 blobs. Gross doesn't tell the full story of how it came about just as a figure, and is perhaps what I was originally focusing on as that in it's self is disappointing. So to be more positive, I played 11 holes okay.

So there you go, all things considered I'm sticking with it. Despite my stats telling me to quit. ;)
