Last Sunday I went to the Mizuno national fitting center in New Malden to have a fitting for a set of MX200's. I was somewhat surprise at the results as the recommendation was for graphite shafts.
My club swing speed was low, I averaged 70mph with all the clubs I tried but the graphite shafts gave better and consistent ball speed, carry etc.
Another benefit for me was I didn't get a 'jarring' through my shoulder when I struck the ball (I've had my collar bone plated in my left shoulder).
So I know its not macho judging by previous comments but I'm getting the MX200's with the graphite shafts and it will be interesting how I get on once I've bedded them in ...... and no I wont be playing from the red tee's
Anyone else out there use graphite shafts on their irons?
