......got a cut from medal play today! :)

I've made buffer zone in medals before but have only ever gone down from stablefords.

Shot a gross 90 net 66 to go down .8 to 23.2!

Every little helps, as they say.

Oh, and I left some shots out there.

Anybody else get a nice cut this weekend?

Very similar to you! :p
I shot a nett 88, off handicap 20 :D
Nice shooting mate, keep it going !
You must be close to the lead surely!?
Jordan :D

Well done GM , small cuts soon add up and its a sign of consistency to make regular buffers with the odd cut. Better than one massive cut followed by a few 0.1's back.

I have only played once since Beau and that was at Tigers place last Monday. I havnt got any comps in the diary for the foreseeable future.

Another 0.1 back today. Like normal didn't play bad for the main but a lack of care around the greens was the main problem. Tried not thinking about it (as you lot told me too) and didn't think enough during the shot so it's all your fault. :D ;)

Well done Golfmmad the first of many handicap drops in medals I am sure. Keeping doing the right things and you'll be fine. As oddsocks said next goal 85 in a medal. Work lots on the short game especially putting inside 10ft and you will do it.

Hopefully the first of many, well done fella.

Next milestone 85 ;)

Yeah thanks Baz,

Hopefully you're right. :)

Good shooting too Golfer!

I came 8th.

There were 2 on 64, 2 on 65 and 4 on 66 with me coming 8th.

Thanks Jammy,

and agree with what you say - lots of little cuts etc.

Although I'll never get down to your standard, I can imagine how it must be for low single figure golfers - no room for error, pressure, pressure. :)

Well done bruv your game is going well this season and you may well be lower than me very shortly, you can give me a lesson when I come down next ;)

Had a cut you ask, after our 36 hole county championships Saturday and shooting 101 and 111 I think it should be the wrists :D

To cap it all had to n/r in the medal today on the 10th as I played a poor tee shot couldnt find it went back 3 of the tee, another poor shot, hit my 4th shot took four paces forward found the ball I just hit from the tee, and found I just played the wrong ball, 2 shoot penalty then hit the next shoot into the sea. :(

I don't believe it, you were playing so well, breaking 90 for fun and shooting a PB!

So, when I come up next Thursday week, we'll have a game at yours and you can give me a lesson on playing a links course!

And I hope it aint windy - 'cos I've heard it gets a bit breezy up there. :D :D

Bruv.

My lord it's snowing cuts on the forum. Well played fella. Keep it going :D

I'd be happy with so much as a light drizzle of cuts right now, I could only manage yet another buffer zone this weekend

Out of 6 comps so far since March, I went up 0.1 the first 2 times whilst I was bedding in a couple of swing changes then 4 consecutive buffers. Ironically the lessons and swing changes were/are part of an attempt to be more consistant :)

Well done to those who have managed it this weekend, if its been as windy for you as its been here then thats some damn good scoring!

Well done Chris, good shooting.

Taking a months break from medals to get my game in order in a more relaxed environment!

See you at the stableford on the 25th!

Thanks Steve,

It's taken a long time, but I'm sure it wont be as long for you. Just keep plugging away, you'll get there.

I'll be there on the 25th - I wont be getting 2 shots on the par 3 13th anymore! :D
