I'm surprised to read this, particularly as you have a handicap of 7.

What have been the problems you've had with driver, what type of flight were you getting ? Now importantly what are you doing different ?

Haha only joking. Didn't even look at your handicap, how do you get to 7 without being able or be happy with your driving?

Good question I have actually been down to 5.6 and was hoping for lower.
However over the years I have had major problems with drivers probably because its a club I just feel I need to whack the hell out of.
I also used to fade a ball and wanted to change to a draw so that messed me up also.
For 2 years I never used a driver at all and learnt to hit my 3 wood quite well and with fair distance knowing though in the back of my mind I needed to learn to hit the driver at some time.

My short game is very good especially around the greens and that has helped keep my handicap down so now I just feel with my driving improving,my irons being so much better and my putting coming along my handicap must come down.

Today I just decided that I would try everything to hit the driver and for some reason it clicked so,so well,i even hit 8 shots in a row over the fence at the end of the range with range balls at 220 I then hit 5 balls of my own and they went out of sight,as I said a good day at the range today.

Mate it does and that's the reason I'm persevering with a driver,although the 3 wood is good backup for fairway finding

After seeing your bro knock it 60 yards past my 3 wood I knew I needed a driver.

You hit that 3 wood very well! Hope the ping goes well for you bud! Sometimes you find a bat that s just right! My ping ugly g20 hybrid will never leave my bag!!

I've recently obtained a G10 10•5º driver that I was planning to sell in a few weeks time that I've never used .............. maybe I should give it a try!
How does a G10 stack up against a G25?

Great drivers the G25, I really liked mine and would go back to one. :thup: My M2 is as forgiving but longer in my experience, although tbh I'd take straighter and a little less distance (and I'm not a forum long drive champ )

Glad you've found something you're confident looking at, half the battle with every club IMO.
