You don't need development in avengers Doomsday really. It will build up with the fantastic four and such but those will all appear in doomsday
 
We watched Carry-On on Netflix the other night. (No jokes about Sid James and Barbara Windsor not being in it...) I had reservations about Jason Bateman being the villain when I'm so used to seeing him as the comedy 'straight man', but he was excellent! Did a great job as the calm and sinister type. Similarly I wasn't sure Taron Edgerton could pull off the American accent, but he was good too. Plot was a little contrived by the end maybe, but overall we really enjoyed it due to the good performances.

I actually thought it was terrible casting have him play that part.
Easy viewing film,but not great.

We watched The Heretic last night and said the same - Hugh Grant was terrific in it, he carried the whole film with his bonkers performance. If it had been anyone else in that role, it wouldn’t have been half as enjoyable.
 
Finally got around to seeing captain America brave new world

Rather enjoyed it 7/10

Now considering the first captain America was similar start off , IE a slow story but about a noble soilder id say it fits in nicely

Harrison ford was a good replacement actor aswell

I haven't watched it, but it seems dumb, what's the point of him being Captain America when he doesn't have the abilities Steve Rogers had?? Be like having a new Spider-Man who can't shoot webs or scale buildings.

I thought it was awful.
Marvel films really have dipped recently imo.
Hope thunderbolts is better.

Falcon was a hero in his own right and rewatching the old ones he was pretty good

Did you watch falcon and the winter soldier series? Captain America is more than a serum, with Sam as captain he is someone people can aspire to be rather than a super soldier was how they sold it

It's worth a watch

Yeah he's decent as Falcon. He has a jetpack and armour or whatever. But the whole point of Captain America is that he's a super soldier thanks to the serum they gave him. No point having Captain America who's just a normal bloke. We can all dress up in a Captain America outfit. 😂

HIs outfit has wings etc , mixture of both and uses the shield , plus the wakanda people built him new wings that can store any power that hits them and use it against who fired it

Like captain iron man
