Bad as it s, Its not as if the plot is the worst part, the behaviour of the characters and then the acting are off the scale poor

It's the kind of film that while you're watching, it makes you wonder how the cash might have been better spent on health care or housing for the homeless etc

The Penguin Lessons. A lovely film with Steve Coogan. It's a BBC 2 type of film but that's no bad thing. A nice escape.

Went to see 'Flow' - which won the Oscar for best animation.

Absolutely stunning animation, all digitally created. And although ostensibly a story for kids, perfectly enjoyable for adults. Well worth it.

We watched The Hunt last night - a black comedy, in the style of Cabin In The Woods, with a bit of a Hunger Games / The Purge kind of storyline. It was very good, and Betty Gilpin was outstanding in the lead role - couldn't believe I'd never seen her in anything before.

Conclave, rented on Amazon. Very topical, very interesting. Some quality acting, without anyone trying to grandstand.

Thunderbolts, the latest Marvel film. A return to form, finally. Good film, a bit more thoughtful from Marvel, less CGI. The Red Guardian steals it for me, brought some good humour to the film. Sets up the next set of films nicely.

Oh, there are two extra clips, the second is at the very end I'm afraid. You do need to stay though

Some big blockbusters showing on the trailers, the studios are throwing the kitchen sink at the summer. MI, Jurassic Park, Fantastic Four, Superman. All big budget stuff, they need most of these to come off.

Just have this a watch, not my usual type of film and really enjoyed it.
Much better once I put the subtitles on as my Latin is a bit rusty.
