Reminded me of seeing a similar post today about Alien - was it really that long ago.
I remember seeing Star Wars with the missus. Not planned. Just a sudden desire to go to the movies on our way home from the Science Museum, London (Kensington or Hammersmith Odeon from memory).

Went to watch Lilo and Stitch for the daughters birthday party at Cineworld , we have the whole screen for ourselves which allowed the kids to get up and dance

I thought it was easy enough to follow - crazed financier tries to control the economy of a fictional country, despite the efforts of a shady consortium to thwart his plans, surviving multiple assassination attempts. There are a few wtf moments, but it’s great fun and the cast is tremendous.

Went last week. Great film. As mad as a box of frogs - pretty much like most Wes Anderson films. Visually stunning as usual.
As an aside, folk must like working for him. Many a big name frequently plays a cameo of just a couple of minutes

Went to the cinema with the wife last night to watch The Salt Path. It was a very good, poignant movie with excellent acting by Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaac’s.
Gentle stuff though tbh and might not appeal to all. It seemed that most of the audience in the cinema were women of a certain age!
