The trailer was very confusing, was the actual film easier to follow?Went to see The Phoenician Scheme last night. Very enjoyable, pretty mad plot at times, and a few laugh out loud moments. People will either love it or hate it. I thought it was great.
I thought it was easy enough to follow - crazed financier tries to control the economy of a fictional country, despite the efforts of a shady consortium to thwart his plans, surviving multiple assassination attempts. There are a few wtf moments, but it’s great fun and the cast is tremendous. The trailer was very confusing, was the actual film easier to follow?
Went last week. Great film. As mad as a box of frogs - pretty much like most Wes Anderson films. Visually stunning as usual. The trailer was very confusing, was the actual film easier to follow?
