Favourite Tech

I agree the cordless vac is very good. We vacuum the main rooms (kitchen, living, halls) daily now as it's so quick and easy. Used to be a weekly task as it was such a chore.

I can do half the house on one charge so do other chores while it charges if I am doing a weekly/monthly chore set.

I even if it dies after a 3 years it will be replaced, got it on sale so not a lot lost based on how much it's used.

Half the house on one charge. not the best selling point

Any form of digital recording.

NO more phaffing about with tapes, no more rolls of film and waiting days to see the results, no worries about how much it costing to shoot dozens of pictures.

and, if I ever get round to doing it, all my records, cassettes and CDs on one source.

Your clearly not cleaning properly then 😜

Must haven bought a cheap one! LOL my wife can do our 4 bed top to bottom on one charge. (to be fair, i was mugged off, it was almost 500 quid!)

Dyson V6 on sale so was actually a steal. We love it and use it daily. Only a 20 min run though which for me does half the house.

There have been some cracking deals, mrs bullied me into the V8 which has 40 mins run time.. For a vacuum, it is a great bit of tech!

We have a G-tech cordless vacuum. Brilliant kit that can vacuum the whole house three times on one charge. No reduction in power at any stage until it just stops.

The best bit of tech for me is a Sat nav. As someone who is useless with directions it has made life so much easier. Finding so many golf clubs that are hidden away is now possible for starters 😁

Boys boys!!!!!!! What are you talking about???? Cleaners???? Cordless cleaners!!!!!? The thread is about Top Tech and loads of you have put forward cordless cleaners!!!!! Seriously!!!!! What are you wasting you money on!!!!!!!!!? We have a 20 year old corded one that is as good as the day it was purchased. £30. Surely a Garmin MUST be above the cleaner! Or any distance measuring device!
Good Grief Charlie Brown !

I could never buy virtually anything large and battery powered.

Having to wait for the batteries to charge when you only use the thing every 3 months or so just gets on my wick.

What's your favourite piece of tech thats come out in the last 20 years, something you now couldn't be without?

Not necessarily golf related

I acquired my fav piece in the 80's so well outside the 20 years

It's a tiny Carl Zeiss 8 x 21 monocular with a freaky folding prism (that's the tech bit) that fits into my palm

Never needs charging or upgrading to latest versions, doesn't need ongoing support or the purchase of accessories or bolt-on's and still works as well as it did when I got it

had lots of other tech that was totally kaput or never used after a few short years (who else had a palm pilot!) but they've all gone by the wayside, real tech has staying power! :D

I am going to stay away from the obvious options and say the ecig. Would never have quit smoking without one.
