Following on from my post about crap chinese buffets, I do like a nice Cantonese style sweet and sour king prawn with fried rice. Whats your takeaway meal of choice?

Egg Fried Rice, Special Chow Mein, Kung Po Prawns and crispy seaweeds.
If I'm feeling particularly hungry I'll order a couple of apple fritters in syrup too.
If I'm going Indian it will be a Pilau rice, Chicken Dansak, Bombay Aloo and a nice, fat keema naan.

Singapore Chow Mein - NO PRAWNS !!!!!!!!

aaaaaaaghhhh FFS " I said NO PRAWNS!!!!!"

sits there flicking prawns at the cat

I love a nice chicken curry from the Chinese but they always load it with mushrooms too, which I hate.
So I always say "no mushrooms, but loads of onions".
So many onions and peas. And my missus never gets the onions right if she tries to do a "chinese" curry. I love it 'cos they are so crunchy, almost raw. And the peas are like bullets too. Cor, I could go one now

Poppadoms with mint yoghurt
Prawn Puree / Aliza Chicken / Sheek Kebab
Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi / Chicken Tikka Balti
Special Rice
Garlic & Coriander Naan
Bhindee-Bhajis / Aloo Gobi

All washed down with cobra lager, rioja, and a nice nutty desert followed by a warm cognac to finish

That is my idea of takeaway heaven

I love a good curry. King prawn Puree, Chicken chilli masala, mushroom pilau, and a keema naan for me.
Unfortunately im the only one in our house who will eat anything hotter than a round of bread and butter. So it's usually bloody chinese.
Luckily I can cook a mean curry that will match any take-away, if I can be bothered.

Crispy shredded chicken in Peking sauce (Beijing sauce at one particular takeaway) with fried rice and either seaseme prawn toast or onion rings.
Can't beat the onion rings from a chinese - none of this tiny crap from the likes of Burger King, just take a huge wedge of onion & fry it in batter! :D
