Faith restored in AG!!

Me and the wife took a trip to American golf yesterday because I wanted to "try" some drivers. The sales guy was very good and showed me the workings of the Vector, I tried the I15 11* & 9* with the range of G15s and the R9 430.

I was really impressed with the service by the staff after having a couple of poor experiences before, I found out I have a swing speed of about 99mph and a ball speed of 142mph and he help get a driver that lowered spin and I walked away with the G15 10.5* Serrano (thanks to a wonderful wife).

Also I worked out that the G15 irons are too large for me and the I15 irons are too small, so it looks like I5's next year will be in the bag.

At last, an AG store that knows what its doing. Its great when you can hit balls and know the information is reliable. Good luck with your new stick. I have to be honest and say I thought you'd have liked the I15. The sweetspot is still quite large and forgiving even given their smaller head.

I liked the look of the I15 but it sat to closed for me and I got the best results from the Seranno shaft in reg but its more like a stiff TFC.

I'd hate to see the clubs you use. The i15 sits with a fade bias.

Maybe my choice of words was incorrect but I didnt like the hosel been positioned slightly back on it, also the shaft options arent the best, the Serrano was best on test for me.

Just spreading some Christmas cheer. If we all liked the same things we would all still be using Hogan Persimmon Speed Slots (If Carlsberg made drivers, well you know how it goes!!!!!!).
