F1, The red button

It was dull. Microphones not working, Jake in charge and just a poor effort at imitating what Sky probably do better.
On the plus side, I didn't know Eddie Jordan was a pretty good drummer and JB turned up for 5 mins (which was more than LH did).
Not even Murray Walker could rescue it from the cringe factor. And did anyone see Jackie Stewart's tartan bunnet

Well, at least the overtake for the win happened on track rather than in the pits [which is a real plus for the current regs]... Not fussed which of the two main commentary teams [Sky or Beeb] accompany my F1 viewing... Actually warmed to DC in the last couple of seasons... Thought the post race interview by Sir Jackie, on the podium, was an excellent idea... As noted JYS's cap was a little overstated perhaps a return to his favoured corded cap from the 60's might be in order...

Not a big F1 fan but do try and watch the British one. Sat through the first hour until the tennis and it wasn't quite a procession and some good over taking partcularly by Grosjean. Preferred Sky to BBC commentary

I watched on Sky, I never miss it, I thought it was a great race.

In my opinion BBC should have kept non of it and sold it all to sky. Any real grand prix fan wants to see all the races, if they have had to pay for Sky they will not watch it on the bbc on the days it is on there (half of the races)

If bbc wanted to really save money they should have totally jumped ship. While they may save money they have made sure we will never ever get a free to air grand prix season ever again! *****.
